Supporting a vote of no-confidence in the Health Minister would amount to "national sabotage" as it would spark a snap general election, Fianna Fáil finance spokesman, Michael McGrath, has suggested.

Simon Harris is expected to survive tomorrow's Dáil motion of no confidence in him but may have as few as two votes to spare after Independent TD Michael Harty said he would not back the minister.
