Man arrested after discovery of a suspect device denied bail

A Limerick man who was arrested following the discovery of a suspect device in Moyross earlier this week has been denied bail.

Thirty-four-year-old Anthony McNamara, of Ballygrennan Close, Moyross, has been charged with making an explosive substance on an unknown date, contrary to Section 4 of the Explosive Substances Act, 1883.
