A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, said gardaí in a statement.

Earlier (12:33pm): Man arrested following 'significant' CAB operation in Limerick

High-end cars, a Harley Davidson motorbike and cocaine were seized after six premises were searched in Limerick city and county this morning.

Five homes and a business were searched by officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) investigating a member of a crime gang involved in drug dealing.

Three cars were seized in the operation: 151 Audi A6, 151 VW and 131 Range Rover Sport.

Financial documents, phones and laptops, as well as drug dealing equipment, were also discovered.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Henry Street Garda Station.

Gardaí have described this morning's operation as significant.
