Man injured in Co Kerry incident dies in hospital

A man in his 30s has died from injuries following an early morning altercation outside a takeaway food outlet in Killorglin, Co Kerry.

Named locally as Stephen O'Connor, 32, from the Glencar area, close to the town, he had been on life support at Cork University Hospital after being transferred on Sunday from University Hospital Kerry on Sunday.
