All-clear given after pipe bomb explodes in Dublin
The all-clear has been given after a pipe bomb exploded in north Dublin.
GardaĂ alerted the Army Bomb Disposal Team which was called to the scene in Coolock at 6.15pm yesterday.
It was sealed off for public safety while the squad carried out a post-blast analysis.
It was declared safe just before 8pm last night.
Meanwhile, a viable pipe-bomb has been made safe following a suspicious discovery in Co Louth in the early hours of this morning.
GardaĂ called on the Army Bomb Disposal Team to investigate the device in Drogheda at 2.45am.
A number of houses were evacuated and the scene was declared safe at 4.20am.
