A Fianna Fáil Councillor has made a formal complaint to gardaí about videos of “random unprovoked attacks” involving children, believed to be as a young as 12, which were shared on Snapchat.

A Fianna Fáil Councillor has made a formal complaint to gardaí about videos of “random unprovoked attacks” involving children, believed to be as a young as 12, which were shared on Snapchat.

Cllr Cathal Crowe, based in Parteen, in South East Clare, said the videos were filmed in Limerick city, showing teenagers and younger children “pummeling” each other in organised fights.
