Latest: Gardaí appeal for witnesses as motive for fatal Dublin shooting still unclear

Gardaí are searching for two men after a man was shot dead in Ballymun in Dublin last night.

Update: 7.03pm - Gardai are investigating if last night's killing of a man in Ballymun in Dublin is linked to a shooting incident in the area a number of weeks ago.

Detectives are trying to establish a motive for the gun attack in which a 45-year-old man was killed.
