Update - 1.59pm: The head of Cork’s Sexual Violence Centre, Mary Crilly, has said that three allegations of sexual assault or rape during Freshers Week in the city would be the norm, writes Roisin Burke of the Evening Echo.

It follows a report that three first-year college students have told the centre they were raped in Cork city since the start of September.
