College-student rapes: 'Probably more that we don’t know about', says centre

Three teenage female college students have been raped in Cork since the start of the university term.

Update - 1.59pm: The head of Cork’s Sexual Violence Centre, Mary Crilly, has said that three allegations of sexual assault or rape during Freshers Week in the city would be the norm, writes Roisin Burke of the Evening Echo.

It follows a report that three first-year college students have told the centre they were raped in Cork city since the start of September.
