Transatlantic flight diverted to Shannon after note found in jet toilet suggested bomb was on board

A transatlantic flight was diverted to Shannon Airport following an apparent bomb threat.

Update - 5.52pm: A message suggesting there was a bomb on board was found scribbled on a surface in one of the jet’s toilets.
