The judge at the trial of former Anglo Irish Bank CEO David Drumm has said banking authorities cannot condone criminal behaviour.

“Much has been said about the Financial Regulator and the Central Bank, but what they knew is irrelevant to the issues in this trial,” Judge Karen O'Connor told jurors.
