If you have an electric car, you could get toll discounts

Toll discounts have been announced for electric cars.

The scheme will begin this summer and is available to the first 50,000 electric vehicles with an electronic tag.

It will mean a 50% discount for battery electric vehicles and a 25% reduction for plug-in hybrid cars.

The scheme will run until 2022.
