Garda stabbed in the eye and chest by burglars challenges Minister's refusal to allow him seek compensation

A Garda who suffered serious eye and other injuries when burglars broke into his father-in-law's home and stabbed him has challenged the Minister for Justice's refusal to let him bring a case for compensation to the courts.
