Gardaí appeal for witnesses after Longford stabbing involving 'a large number of men'

Latest: Longford gardaí have have appealed for witnesses after an assault in which a man received stab wounds and which involved "a large number of men".

The incident happened on Main Street, Ballymahon, Co. Longford at about 7am today. A man in his 40s received what appears to be stab wounds.
