A 21-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a Dublin shooting.

A 21-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a Dublin shooting.

Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene at Cherry Orchard Parade.

He was shot at approximately 8.05pm.

His injuries are described as non-life threatening.

He has been removed St. James's Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
