Woman whose drinking means family and friends can't cope with her, to be detained by court order over Christmas

The judge was told that, while she has friends, they and their family feel unable to cope with her over Christmas.

An "extraordinarily vulnerable" woman is to be detained by court order over Christmas in a psychiatric unit because there is "no room at the inn", the President of the High Court has said.
