Commission chair O’Toole denies interest in Garda top job

Policing commission chairwoman Kathleen O’Toole has ruled herself out of consideration for the garda commissioner job, writes Cormac O'Keeffe.

In an interview with the Irish Examiner, the US police chief said it was “important” that she publicly did so following reports last week claiming she was the Government’s choice for the position.
