Poll: Most Cork TDs and senators against merger report's recommendations

An overwhelming majority of Cork’s 22 senators and TDs oppose the recommendations of the Mackinnon report to extend the city’s boundary, writes Sean O’Riordan.

A poll carried out by the Irish Examiner showed 15 were against its full implementation, with just four in favour.
