53 PSNI officers disciplined after botched missing persons probes

The north's Police Ombudsman says 53 officers have been disciplined over a string of botched missing person inquiries.

Some PSNI members did not properly assess reports and there were further problems with supervision and searches plus missed opportunities to gather evidence, the watchdog said.
