A man has been arrested at Dublin Airport in connection with a plot to kill a member of the Hutch gang.

A man has been arrested at Dublin Airport in connection with a plot to kill a member of the Hutch gang.

It is part of the investigation into the attempted murder of James 'Mago' Gately in Dublin's north inner city in May.

The suspect in his 30s is allegedly linked to the Kinahan crime cartel.

He was arrested last night and can be held for questioning for up to seven days.
