The Independent Alliance was highly “relieved” when an “arrogant, tribal”, and “tetchy” Enda Kenny departed as taoiseach in June, super junior minister Finian McGrath has said, writes Daniel McConnell.

“He used to get up our noses,” Mr McGrath said in an interview with the Irish Examiner.
