Gardaí hope residents' information leads to clues after fatal stabbing of child

Gardaí are hoping people in a south Dublin apartment complex heard or saw something that might provide key clues regarding the fatal stabbing of a child at his home, writes Cormac O'Keeffe.

Detectives are waiting for the results of DNA and fingerprint tests on a knife found at the apartment in Kimmage, which will direct the course of their homicide investigation.
