Gardaí investigate after woman's body found in Donegal apartment

Update 6.30pm: The body of a woman found in Co. Donegal has been removed from the scene.

Gardaí say the course of the investigation will be determined by the outcome of a post mortem.

Earlier: Gardaí in Co. Donegal are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in an apartment in Raphoe.

Ambulance personnel alerted Gardaí after calling to an apartment on William Street at around 8pm last night.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

The 43-year-old woman's body remains at the scene.
