Young man dies in Louth after sudden illness

A 19-year-old who rushed by ambulance after he suddenly became unwell has died, gardaí have confirmed.

The young man died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda yesterday.

Gardaí say a file is now being prepared for the coroner.
