UK £10 entry fee 'could be used to improve border technology'
Visitors should be charged £10 to enter Britain to pay for new technology to avoid the need for a hard border between North and South and increase the ease of doing business after Brexit, a think-tank has said.
The Reform think-tank said the fee would be in line with United States charges for international visitors and could raise up to £450m a year, equivalent to 80% of the Border Force* budget.
