Latest: Pensioner dies in Limerick road accident

A pensioner has died in a road accident in Co Limerick this morning.
The crash happened on Condell Road, Co Limerick at around 8am.
A man in his 70s, who was the sole occupant of the car, was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he has since passed away.
The sole occupant of a second car did not require medical attention at the scene.

A main artery into Limerick city centre is closed this morning following a serious crash.
The three car collision happened around 8.15 near the Clonmacken roundabout on the Condell Road.
Emergency services are at the scene including three units of Limerick City Fire and Rescue Service.
