Teenager killed in road accident

A teenager was killed in a road accident in Co Meath last night.

The 17-year-old male was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a fence.

The incident occurred at around 7.15pm in Ballivor, Co Meath.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed off for a forensic examination and local diversions are in place.
