Gardaí investigating after Dublin assault puts man in hospital

Gardaí are investigating an attack on a man in Dublin City Centre this morning.

Detectives say he was assaulted by a group of men on Anne's Lane, just off Grafton Street, in the early hours.

The victim was taken to St James' Hospital for treatment however his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
