A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being knocked down in Dublin.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being knocked down in Dublin.

The man in his 20s was struck by a car on the Oscar Traynor Road in North Dublin at about 5am.

He is receiving treatment in Beaumont Hospital.

An investigation is underway and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
