Members of the public are being urged to have their say on Ireland's abortion laws by a December 16 deadline.

Members of the public are being urged to have their say on Ireland's abortion laws.

The Citizens' Assembly is looking at a number of issues including the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution.

The Assembly, comprising chairperson Justice Mary Laffoy (pictured) and 99 randomly selected citizens, will meet again on November 26 to discuss the topic.

Members of the public can make a submission before Friday, December 16 at citizensassembly.ie or by post to Citizens Assembly, 16 Parnell Square, Dublin 1.
