Renewable Heat Incentive scheme 'one of the biggest scandals' since devolution

A botched renewable energy scheme that has left Stormont facing an overspend of hundreds of millions of pounds has been branded one of the biggest political scandals since devolution returned to the North.

Assembly member Daniel McCrossan made the claim as he and fellow members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) quizzed officials involved in the administration of the ill-fated Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
