€450k lotto win comes along at the right time for fiancés and new dads in Army syndicate

A group of 20 soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Battalion in Kilkenny marched into National Lottery Headquarters in Dublin this morning to collect a cheque for €452,700.

The syndicate won the prize in the Lotto draw on Saturday, 27 August, 2016 when they matched five numbers and the bonus to win the biggest prize on offer to date in this Lotto prize category.
