Man's body recovered from River Shannon

A body of a man has been recovered from the River Shannon in Limerick city, writes David Raleigh.

The body of the man, understood to be aged in his 50s, was discovered washed up on the bank of the river at low tide, beneath St Michael's Rowing Club, around 2pm this afternoon.
