Cost of holding Ireland's high-profile prisoners up by thousands

It cost almost €98,000 to jail some of Ireland's most high-profile criminals in Portlaoise last year.
Figures released by the Irish Prison Service show that while less people were jailed in 2015, the cost increased by €2,000 per prisoner.
Portlaoise Prison is Ireland's only maximum security jail and houses the three Dundon brothers from Limerick who are serving life sentences for three separate murders.
