Pigeon trapped in Cork courthouse shot by Animal Control

Animal Control have shot a pigeon in a courthouse in Cork after it became trapped.

The pigeon became trapped and distressed in Washington Street courthouse last week.

Despite best efforts there was no way to catch and release the bird.

Animal control were called in and said they had no option but to “humanely put down” the pigeon using an air pellet.
