Fire causes closure to rail line into Heuston station

Irish rail say a gorse fire close to the Curragh race course in Kildare has forced the closure of their main line into Dublin Heuston tonight.

Local fire services are currently trying to bring the blaze under control.

This particular line serves trains travelling into and out of Dublin from Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Athlone and Westport.
