Temperatures set to hit mid-20s as summer returns to Ireland

The summer is back as temperatures are set to hit the mid-20s in some places this afternoon.

Met Eireann have said it will be warm, dry and sunny for the day with highest temperatures of 21C to 26C - warmest in the Midlands.
