eFlow tags will no longer be accepted on three major toll plazas from the start of September.

The company has confirmed that it will withdraw its service from the toll plazas on the M1 near Drogheda, the M7/M8 south of Portlaoise and the N25 near Waterford.

Celtic Roads Group, which is responsible for these three roads, issued a statement today saying that it had offered higher payments to eFlow but it cannot meet the company's demands.

It added that it regrets the inconvenience caused, but there are a range of other tag options available to motorists if they do not wish to pay by cash.
