Console expected to be wound up

Suicide prevention charity Console is expected to be wound up in the coming days.

Meetings are continuing this weekend to transfer its services to another organisation in a bid to keep its helpline open.

It comes after revelations about financial irregularities at the embattled organisation.

It is reported that Pieta House will take over the majority of Console's workload.
