A Cork woman is reported to have died in Spain.

The 21-year-old woman was on holidays at the time. It is reported she fell from a balcony.

The Cork woman was on holidays in Tenerife in the Canary Islands at the time

The woman is understood to have been originally from Mayfield.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance.
