Pedestrian seriously injured in Cork crash
A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a crash in Cork this morning.
A 33-year-old man was injured when a car struck him at about 3.20am in Charleville.
He is receiving treatment in Cork University hospital - while the male driver and a number of passengers were uninjured in the collision.
A forensic examination of the scene is underway and the road is expected to reopen shortly.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them at Mallow station.
