Expanding Commission of Investigation into alleged foster-home abuse would be 'premature', says Department

The Department of Health is examining the case of a 19-year-old woman with disabilities who was allegedly left in the care of a foster home in the south of the country after allegations of abuse were made about a carer there.

The Department of Health and the Department of Children are to meet with the HSE and the child and family agency TUSLA this week.
