Juvenile arrested follow €420k heroin seizure

A juvenile boy has been arrested after €420,000 worth of heroin was seized in Ballymun in Dublin.

Gardaí discovered the heroin in a rucksack when the juvenile was stopped and searched at Coultry Park at 3.30pm this afternoon.

The male is currently detained at Ballymun Garda station under Section 2 of Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.

The arrest came following a surveillance operation.
