PSNI investigate hijacking

Police in the North are investigating a hijacking in Lisburn.

Just before 10pm last night, a black Peugeot 208 parked in a layby at Bensons Road was hit from behind by another car.

A number of men jumped out of the second vehicle, pulled the two female occupants from the Peugeot and drove off in it.

The women suffered minor injuries and shock.

The PSNI is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
