Schoolchildren rescued from mountain trip after one develops severe hypothermia

A school group have been rescued from the Mourne Mountains after a number of them developed hypothermia when the weather deteriorated.

Mourne Mountain Rescue Team said one of the pupils was suffering from severe hypothermia and was lapsing in and out of consciousness while a number of others had mild symptoms.
