Here are the new measures to fight fraud and identity theft in passport applications

Changes are being brought in for Irish passport applications.

From the end of this month, March 29, adults applying for their first Irish passport will be required to present a photocopy of their Public Services Card, which they can get through the Department of Social Protection.
