Gerry Adams to be nominated for Taoiseach

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams is to be nominated for the position of Taoiseach on Thursday.

The move now effectively ensures that no candidate will have a majority to be elected Taoiseach when the 32nd Dáil meets.
