Man in serious condition in hospital after early morning assault

Gardaí are reviewing CCTV footage in relation to a serious assault in the Harold's Cross area of south Dublin.

Emergency services were called to an incident outside Park View apartments just after 4am this morning.

They discovered a 57-year-old man who was injured.

He was taken to St James’ Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.

Anyone who was in the Harold's Cross area between 3.30am and 4am this morning is asked to contact Gardaí at Rathmines station.
