Woman rescued from Grand Canal in Kildare

A woman has been rescued from the Grand Canal in Sallins, Co. Kildare

She was pulled from the water by a passer-by this evening.

She is being taken to Naas General Hospital for treatment.

Emergency crews, including several units of Kildare Fire Service, remain at the scene.
