Afghan men found in container at Rosslare Harbour had travelled from Cherbourg

It has emerged the four Afghan men found in a container coming off a boat at Rosslare Harbour had travelled from Cherbourg in France.

The discovery was made in the early hours of yesterday morning by Gardaí from the national immigration unit.
