16 arrested in Co Kilkenny

As part of Operation Thor 16 people have been arrested for theft, robbery and burglary in Co Kilkenny.

A number of people appeared before the courts and a further 16 people were arrested on warrant.

Gardaí, together with the Department of Agriculture, also seized 30 horses in the Wetlands area of Kilkenny.

Those horses have been removed to a safe environment.
